Students will work in groups of two or more at internship sites that will be selected based on expressed interests and skills. They will spend 24 hours a week on-site. Interns will be involved with projects like community and volunteer organizing, researching and writing grants, assisting with data collection and creating and providing programs for various New Orleans community groups. There are also numerous opportunities for participants to get involved in hands-on rebuilding and construction efforts. These efforts will help organizations build capacity so they can achieve even greater results in the recovery of the great city of New Orleans.

Students will choose one of the following internship topics:
